It is the Junior wing of the Rotary Club. It is an international organization. This committee will guide the Rotaract club of our college to enroll members of our college in selecting office bearers and their installation. It will also chalk out various programmes of the club for the years. This committee will identify and utilize the services of the club in our college. It is functioning under the guidance of the Rotary Club of Karur. Students desirous of rendering service to the public in all possible ways can join this club.

OUR GRAND EVENTS OF THIS YEAR ZONAL FORUM FOR ZONE-II

On 2nd of September we hosted a District Event Zonal forum for Zone-II named “YUVA” at Karur. There were more than 230 Rotaractors from various College Rotaract Clubs. We have various sessions like “Rotaract Platform” “Get Ready to excel” and “YUVA`S YUGA” which made all our Participants as future leaders. Exciting game shows also conducted there.

Industrial Visit

Our Club Organized an industrial visit to E.I.D parry limited at Pugalur in Karur district on 28th of July. Around 100 rotaractors from our club participated in this industrial visit and they were divided into two batches as boys and girls. From this we came to know about the processing of sugar, varieties, qualities and many other things about sugar factory. This visit stimulated our interest to know about various industries.

On 24th January 2008 we have one day career guidance programme named “VETTRIEN VEDHAIGAL” for +2 students of Government Schools in rural areas around Karur district. Nearly 560 Students participated in this programme. We also arranged Kodai FM's live relay programme namely “Thedi varum thendral” from the venue itself. We have eminent resource persons for the session.The inauguration was presided by Mr.V. Ramasamy, DEO and the Valediction was presided by Rtn. Rajendran, Correspondent, Kongu High School, Karur.

SCHOOL CLEANING

On 19th ,20th and 21st of January 2008 we had a school Cleaning camp for 3 days in Government High School Andankovil(west) at Karur.Nearly 65 Rotaractors of our club involved themselves in cleaning and white washing the school campus. We were well appreciated by the school management and nearby community. The inaguration was Presided by Rtn. PHF. S. Srinivasan, President, Rotary Club of Karur and Valedictory Function was presided by Rtn. Er. P. Sivakumar, Rotaract Chairman, Rotary Club of Karur, Correspondent, Kongu College.
